All image files that are part of the patient or visit record can be listed in the Patient Images tab even if a user does not have access to view them by enabling the Global Registry key DISPLAY_ALL_IMG_FILES. User access to specific image form types is determined in Imaging Security Maintenance. Although the image file is listed, the user cannot view it.

Dropdowns that capture the patient’s sexual orientation and gender can be enabled on the Patient tab in multiple workspaces by enabling the Global Registry key GENDER_OPTION. When enabled, the Orient and Gender fields display in the common Patient tab in Registration, Billing, etc. They allow the selection of more specific classification information.

The patient’s race can be further defined when the Ethnicity and Culture dropdowns are available in the Alternate Race tab. These two dropdowns are made available by enabling the Global Registry key REG_ACTIVATE_SUB_RACE_FIELDS.
When active, the Ethnicity and Culture dropdowns contain options associated with the race selected in the Race field. These options are defined in Race Category Maintenance.

A check can be performed to ensure that patient information matches guarantor and subscriber information when the patient is selected as the guarantor/subscriber. It can overwrite the guarantor/subscriber information automatically or prompt the user to overwrite by using the System Registry key PAT_AS_GUAR_CHK.
When patient information is changed in the Patient tab, the patient information can automatically be transferred to the Guarantor and Subscriber tabs, or the following message displays. Click Yes to overwrite the guarantor and subscriber information. Click No to leave the guarantor and subscriber information unchanged.

The ability to update a Unit Record Number for a patient is allowed by enabling the System Registry key REGISTRATION_GHOST_URN_UPD. The URN is an internal number used by RCM Cloud® to track the patient across multiple locations. When the key is enabled, the URN field in the Patient tab is enabled and can be updated.
