Add Info to a Physician’s Profile

Outpatient medication orders for buprenorphine (Suboxone) now require the user to have a DETOX/MAINTENANCE ID NUMBER and DEA EXPIRATION DATE defined in the NEW PERSON file. The DETOX/MAINTENANCE ID NUMBER is the practitioner’s unique identification number as required by the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000.  Below is how to add this number and expiration date to a physician’s profile:

A 2-digit year means no more than 20 years in the future, or 80 years in the past. Enter DEA # Expiration Date
