Within the Prescription file in FileMan, there is an Activity Log that lists the user that printed the prescription, the date/time it is printed and the printer name. This can be achieved by doing an inquiry using the prescription number in CareVue. Also, if the printing were to occur multiple times, it would document that activity as well. Please see the highlighted area below.

Setting the BEHORX PRINT SCRIPT parameter gives users the option to have “Prescription” as a choice to select depending on the setting. Currently, the parameter is set as Single Page at the System level for your site, which in turn means anyone with access to CareVue can print a prescription. This parameter can be set at the options below.
BEHORX PRINT SCRIPT may be set for the following:
100 User USR [choose from NEW PERSON]
300 Class CLS [choose from USR CLASS]
400 Location LOC [choose from HOSPITAL LOCATION]
800 Division DIV [KERN MEDICAL CENTER]
900 System SYS [KMC.KERNMEDICAL.COM]
Controls the availability of the Print Rx print feature within EHR.
Possible values are:
DISABLED = Feature is not available within the GUI.
MULTIPAGE = Use multi-page prescription format.
SINGLE PAGE = Use single page prescription format.
