Deleting a Report
Caution: Use this option rarely and with extreme caution. You should delete a report only to correct problems that you cannot correct in any other way. For example, you could use it if a transcriptionist entered a report on the wrong patient, discovered it, and asked the supervisor to delete it before the physician verifies it.
Notes
In order to delete a report, you must have the RA MGR security key.
If you delete a report for a printset, all exams in the set reflect the changed exam status, and the fact that there is no report for any of them.
When you use this option, the RADIOLOGY REPORT DELETION mail group or another mail group set up by IT receives the RAD/NUC MED REPORT DELETION bulletin.
