Sometimes a user will have a special view of the initial BCMA screen that isn’t displaying correctly or may be inadvertently minimizing where they can’t use or even see it. Below are instructions on where the setting that controls this is located and how to delete the special parameters so it reverts back to a default BCMA screen.
First you will use “TEST AN OPTION”. The option to test is “XPAR EDIT PARAMETER”. The “PARAMETER DEFINITION NAME” you need to edit is called “PSB WINDOW”. You will be prompted to enter the specific user name which is located in the NEW PERSON file. Once you enter the correct user name, you will see the “USER WINDOW PARAMETERS”. These parameters dictate how the initial screen will show once BCMA is opened. At that prompt, you will delete the parameters showing by typing an “@” at the prompt, along with a confirmation of the deletion, and the field will be left blank. See the example below:
