To modify a patient movement in Fileman:

You may have to modify a patient movement in Fileman if when you attempt to modify the date/time in Extended Bed Control, you receive messages that there is already a movement at the time you are specifying or if receive any other message where it will not allow you to modify the date/time because of out of sequence movements. Be very cautious with this and only use when absolutely necessary.

From the programmer prompt, type the following:

To modify an admission:
>S DGPMT=1

To modify a transfer:
>S DGPMT=2

To modify a discharge:
>S DGPMT=3

Then type:
>D Q^DI

Then type 1 For Enter/Edit in Fileman, select the movement in question and change the date/time.

To delete a patient movement from the Programmer’s Prompt:

First do a Fileman inquiry on the movement in question and note the NUMBER (IEN) field. Then go to the programmer prompt and type this command where you replace IEN with the NUMBER from the fileman inquiry.
